Privacy
People in a disaster are vulnerable. We collect as little as possible and keep personal details private.
What is public
Needs (what is needed, municipality and ward, status, households), help records, organization names and profiles, and comments after review.
What stays private
Phone numbers and contacts (unless the person agreed to show them), exact GPS points, organization contact details, project funding amounts, uploaded registration documents and private notes.
Maps
Maps only show an approximate area (rounded to about one kilometre), never a house.
Accounts
Organization members sign in with an email code. We use the email only for signing in and TrackRahat invitations.
On your phone
Your language choice, pages you opened (for offline use) and anything you entered without internet are kept in your browser until they are sent.
What we never do
We do not sell information, show advertising, or collect money. Please do not post names, citizenship numbers or lists of households.
Corrections and removal
Organizations can edit or withdraw what they posted. Anyone can use Report a concern to ask us to correct or hide information.
